My Digital Home
Deep in the swirling vortex of data and information that conjures the digital realm exists a square of infinite creative might—the pixel. Still and voiceless like a lone drop of paint on a canvas, yet bearing a resonant power that speaks to every facet of our being. Every little square has life, passion, and other sensations too immeasurable to explain. Which brings you, dear reader, to me, Giovangelux.
Welcome to my personal slice of the internet, where I like talking about all things digital and technological and what we can learn from them.
Just a Man Who Lives in the Digital Aether
Now, I am in no way a master of computation nor a sage of pixels. I am, in truth, a simple, overly ambitious enthusiast.
An observer, a writer, a gamer, a lover of technology, digital life, and the pixels that sprawl among them. Since childhood, pixels have been there to entice me with their immaculate surrealness, their unspoken beauty, and their intricate wisdom. I’ve heard quite often that it’s like magic—the screen the pixels fill is an alluring charm designed to “rot” the brain. If that is the case, then let my brain seep through my ears as I gaze into the digital sunset.
Thankfully, these thoughts are being left behind. The world is becoming more pixelated, and I picture all of us living in harmony with them.
Your Expectations as My Guest
This blog is for those who share the same burning passion for all things digital. I will cover everything from video games to animation and tech. I don’t plan on simply relaying the latest news or trends; moreover, what I want to share with you, dear reader, are ideas. Stories, experiences, and, most of all, possibilities.
Take, for instance, the growing potential of Extended Reality (XR) technologies. There’s an immense charm to replicating reality. I bet the man who invented the stereoscope in 1838 never could have predicted what pixels would do with his concept. To virtualize and extend not just sight and sound but all of our senses.
As you read, there are hundreds of projects in the works with the intent to fully recreate reality in a digital space. Though our realities are different, we are all connected by our senses, and within the coming years, they will be digitized.
It’s already happening…
- Tasty TV: Japanese professor creates flavourful screen
- Smelling in VR environment possible with new gaming technology
It will be revolutionary.
XR tech will further bridge the gap between truth and fiction and bring us closer to digital euphoria. The entire world won’t just be in our phones or computers, but our glasses, clothing, schools, jobs, and so much more.
So stick by me. Learn, theorize, and engage. Together, we will spread the word and work to better understand the greatness of pixels. From all corners of entertainment to the technologies that make it all possible. All the while having fun with it. Soon, you, too, will learn to embrace the pixels.
Don’t you agree?
