I have many methods of communicating with friends and colleagues, but Discord is such a time saver. I don’t gotta step off the computer or look at my phone. All my messages are right there in the background. Just be sure to put it in ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode so the notifications don’t drive you to the brink of insanity…
