I never have heard of a Honeybun! What are they like? how are they different than donuts?

They’re a type of sweet roll that you can find in most convenience stores. They’re technically cinnamon rolls, but with some honey on top. Unlike donuts which are fried, honeybuns are baked, but you can either way with both.

My dad loved a honeybun better than anything. He would hold them over a potbelly stove that we had in order to melt that glaze just a little. A lot of folks around here fry them in butter. I haven’t tried it but they say it’s delicious.
